Rehearsals in the Barn

Tethered to my sensation
You cover me in raw gaze

From chair to furthest corner
I bend on knee

Praying, returning
Over crocodile moat

Ignorant and distracted
They fail to see

My revolving torso pulled
By your hunger

Like a surrendering beast
I’m drug by rope

Boulder on my heart
The pressure is welcomed

Poetry is everywhere 💚
